Hey Guys, is that\u2019s time of year\u2026 Its almost the new year! Its time to make a change… not one that is for a better you but one that is for a more enhanced you!\u00a0 I usually make this a big deal to try to show others the importance of not setting yourself up for attaining nothing.\u00a0 This year I will try a new shorter version LOL<\/p>\n

Listen, reality is every new year people make \u201cNew Year\u2019s Resolutions\u201d.\u00a0 People say I\u2019m going to lose 15 pounds\u2026 I\u2019m going to be happier\u2026. I\u2019m going to take a trip\u2026 or I\u2019m going to get a new job\u2026. Sound familiar? It should we have all done this.\u00a0 But here is the kicker\u2026. None of, us including me, will ever get any of these \u201cResolutions\u201d done unless we actually confront why we have not been successful at this \u201cresolution\u201d before and we take the time to make a plan and put it into effect.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s an example\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cNew Year\u2019s Resolution #1\u201d – I am going to be happier <\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 I realize that I have let life \u201ctake over\u201d, I have allowed all the craziness of things I have no control over run my life and I have not taken any steps to really change things for the better.\u00a0 Not because I am a victim but because I have not decided to take the reins and instead have been playing catch up which gets me NO WHERE.<\/p>\n

Solutions:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Every Morning I will look in the mirror and remind myself, I got this and smile at myself (even if I don\u2019t feel like it) because\u2026 I am worth it!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u201cForce yourself to smile and you\u2019ll soon stop frowning.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

    1. Everyday NO MATTER what is going on, whether I feel happy or sad I will take the time to do something for someone to show them life is good.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      A smile appears to have this strange, power.\u00a0 When you are smiling, it is very hard to be down or angry.\u00a0 Your mood usually changes immediately from yucky to I CAN DO THIS.\u00a0 Even when you find you have to force a smile, it does wonders\u2026\u00a0 Smiling changes the outlook of your day and it can changes someone else\u2019s too! I will keep a smile \u201cometer\u201d everyday to keep this goal in check!<\/em><\/p>\n

      1. I will do something just for me every week. It does not matter if it is a scoop of ice cream, an hour to read a good book, or a phone call to my best friend just for shitz and giggles but I will do something.\u00a0 This will help remind me that I am deserving of being happy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        OK, so I think you got the point here.\u00a0 Resolutions are great but they are better if you have a plan! It can change your world for a better you and can push you to the next level of greatness!\u00a0 Take a chance and a few moments and try it\u2026 you might be surprised!<\/p>\n
