Try growing some of your own food! Why? If your grow your own food, you participate more with nature and the connection to Mother Earth and health!
Here’s is the deal everyone! Growing your own garden of food at home is something anyone can enjoy. Even if you do not have a lot of room you could try hanging a basket of rosemary or a tomato plant in a pot, anything can and will enhance your connection with nature and healthy food! If you have space outdoors, take advantage of it!! The colors of everything you grow for your food will also decorate your view all while getting you to spend more time outside (which we all know is my favorite thing to do!) Remember, everything you plant to grow and nurture your body can also help you try new foods. One hint to start growing your own food… try beginning slowly and simply (I know it will be hard), but this way you can learn the best way to work with nature and yummy treats to get them onto the table! Also learn to ask (or google) to assist you in choosing the right seeds to start your garden. As you learn to what is best for all seasons, you will definitely become more than a mere spectator of life’s cycle. You will now become the cocreator and enhance what you eat via your own garden and nature! Please remember -No matter how large or small your garden is, you can benefit from growing your own organic, fresh, and nutritious food, all while also enjoying the flavors and textures that comes from plants that have been well-tended and loved in your own garden! Hey here is a news flash btw…. When we grow our food, we are a part of and get to watch nature’s cycles which can and will form a closer bond with Mother Earth. Knowing how to grow your own food allows for a sense of freedom and pride because you can and will feed and provide for yourself, one of the most basic necessities. Allow the gratitude to fill your heart (and tummy) us as experience the beauty of nature and the Awesomeness of nature’s wonders! When you harvest your plants, the taste is that much sweeter, because you took the time to nurture it! |
