I was recently asked this question and yes, I thought about it… and I thought about it a lot! 

I feel that this is an important question, and I am so glad that I was asked!!  I must admit not only did I think about it with others in mind, but I thought about it from my life in mind!  What an eye opener! Please take a minute to read the following and then take 5 minute to think about this!  I think you will thank yourself over and over!

Here we go….

Does sitting in the woods alone, creating poems or thoughts around me, my future and my dreams make it so I’m taking away from others?

Or….

Does it empower me to think about not only my future, but the future of others around me too!

Does taking me time to go to the gym, go on a road trip or getting a message, take away from others?

Or…

Does it help me feel good and help bring me into the present, so I can be the happy person within myself and when I share my time with friends and family?

When is self-care ok?  

I say anytime because the outcome creates a plethora of things to come, for all around me, myself, and I because I can truly be in the now and present without a guilty feeling.

But wait there is more!!!!

I want to go into one of the effects of Self Care.

Raising Your Vibration!

There are definitely many ways to raise your vibration, but I feel Self-Care is key, as it can be positive and uplifting for you (remember the reference to me, myself, and I! LOL)

I personally know many people!   Some, I think of as vibrant, and they inspire me to be a better me.  I know for a fact, those with high vibrations help rise me up and are inspiring me, to be better at whatever it is I am doing at the time.  On the opposite side of the spectrum, I also know a lot of people that are negative and toxic (which I avoid at all costs but that is another blog 😊).  These people have an extremely low vibration, but in all honesty, they inspire me too, reminding me not to go there!  ha ha ha  

Where is your vibration?

Let’s think about this vibration thing for a minute.  If you are open to it think about the fact that everything the universe is made up of energy.  Think about that…

Light vibrates at a high speed, while a blade of grass, not so fast, but it does have a vibration frequency. 

Ok now that we got that out of the way… Ready

Here we go…

Humans all vibrate at a plethora of different frequencies!  Everyone’s thoughts and feelings determine their personal internal vibrations which then in turn, affects others like when we spend time with family and friends. And wait for it….

You are attracted to others with similar energies. Your thoughts and feelings determine your vibration and then attracts others of similar energies. 

Now, reality is there are many ways to raise your vibrations…. Affirmations, Meditation, Yoga, long walks on the beach, eating healthy, exercising, road trips, etc…  oh, wait do you see the common factor here?

SELF-CARE.  You are consciously choosing to spend time on me, myself and I which is choosing to focus on YOU!  This is so powerful!!!  But, not only for you, but those around you, so reality is, it is actually a disservice to not do it! 

Take at least five minutes and raise your vibrations daily and over time you will learn how easy this is, how important this is and most importantly how key it is to your SURVIVAL!

Why?

Taking care of yourself and your vibration creates your own reality which is how YOU create a positive shift in your life….

By creating a HIGH VIBRATION through SELF-CARE, you are creating a BETTER you!

If I could, I would get on top of the highest building I could and scream….

I say bring on the self-care and bring on the happiness within You and around YOU!
