Reality is…. It’s not unusual to feel drawn to nature, because we know deep in our heart, that nature is good for us on many levels.
During the present time, we as humans spend way too much time indoors, focused on work, electronics and well frankly just stuff anything that detracts us from what is good for us.
I talk to people every day. I ask them how they are doing, how they are feeling and what they need, to help them get to a place they want to get to. A lot of answers I hear are those of…. I need more hours in the day to get stuff done, I need more money and to do that I need to work harder, or frankly I hear a lot of people say I need a partner who can help me figure out all of the above…
This is what I start out telling people…. First off don’t rely on another to help you get anywhere, you are powerful and can do it (keeping in mind if you want to have fun creating with another that is a different story all together!) Secondly, I tell people that you need to start living in the now. Appreciate what you have and what you are working on at this moment because it could be gone in a split second (honestly it can without a rhyme or reason) and Thirdly…. Most of what we truly need I mean a core need can be found on a trail under the blue sky, standing next to a big, massive, tall, empowering tree, while sitting next to a running creek listening to its sounds or frankly by just sitting in an open field allowing the wind to whirl around you creating a plethora of music for your soul to hear, feel, and ingest on a very deep level!!!
Here’s one of my Life coaching secrets that I share everyday – Spending time in nature allows you to commune with other living things while finding comfort in and embracing Mother Earth and all her blessings. When you spend time in nature you cannot help but feel YOU while walking in the woods, next to a stream or frankly by just sitting next to a tree and using it for a resting spot. By spending time in nature, you allow yourself to connect to the earth ground yourself as you experience its wonders. When in nature you are also surrounding by other living things such as animals or plant life all here trying to just be in the now and enjoy the surroundings, accomplishments and heart connections!
Listen here is another clue I like to share with others, deep down on a heart level we all know that nature is good for us on many levels…. We feel drawn to it on a soul level even if you live in a concrete infested area. Come on you know it’s true, we spend hours driving to the beach to the snow or frankly to a dog park or an orchard to pick cherries, whatever form of nature it is we are pulled to it, well unless you stop yourself from feeling at some point, but that’s another blog all together 😊
So here is the good news…. There are a million ways to connect to nature. Go outside your living space, breath in deep, smell the water on the grass, feel the sun’s rays on your body, feel the wind upon your skin. Allow it in all of it. See the flowers opening (if you can’t find a flower look at a weed yes, they too are a form of nature and are alive) all of this can and will remind you that Mother Earth is giving to you and sharing with you, yes you, gifts every single day, every single hour and yes even every single minute and second you are on this planet “trying to survive”.
Allow these gifts into your life. Take a walk under the stars or on a path allowing the wind to run through your hair, but reconnect. Spend time right now reconnecting with Nature and Mother Earth, it will nourish your soul, it will remind you that you are never really alone and that you are as much a part of nature as the trees, the water or frankly any wild life that you may encounter. Once you can feel this and really feel this and allow yourself to be a part of it… you might be able to start moving forward with a stronger purpose because you can feel you are never truly alone because you are now connected to Mother Earth and all her gifts.
Universal Strength
I can feel the rising of the sun it brings me calmness, even when it retires at night
I can feel the blowing of the wind it makes me feel alive, when there is a chill in the air
I see the opening of flower buds which brings me thoughts of starting again
I see the blue in the sky anytime of the year, which makes me feel all warm inside
I hear the rustling of leaves falling, I am instantly reminded that change is always happening
It is nice to feel and see the beauty that surrounds us at all times
It resembles STRENGTH and LOVE and PEACE that the universe provides
Asking NOTHING in return!
