All that we are is the result of
What we have thought.
The mind is everything.
What we think, we become.

People have been asking me of late, “What is a life coach and how can it help me”. So here is some information I thought I would share with everyone.
Life Coaching is a co-creative and co-active process that can help change and build a better “me” from the bottom-up. A Life Coach looks at a client’s situation from the client’s perspective and assists them in achieving their goals, the way the client wants to achieve them.
Life Coaches (there are many different kinds of coaches by the way) can and do help their clients discover and find solutions to the things they want to change from within themselves. Life Coaches do not provide answers to a client, nor tell them what to do, but they will actually help guide a client through the next step of changes to reach new goals! Life Coaches use the process of powerful questioning to help a client find their own “inner wisdom and solutions”.
Life Coaches act as motivators and work with a client while the client implements their action plan. Life Coaches can and will help keep a client accountable and focused to get through the obstacles at hand!
Maybe, most importantly, Coaches take into account what is important to the client, what is comfortable for them, what suits their personality, and then, together, gets to work with a client to make the desired changes.
So after all that, what are my thoughts on the right approach as a Life Coach… A Life Coach will work with each client to be more personalized and always factor in the client’s values, needs and goals while incorporating the more holistic approach, taking into account all other aspects of an individual’s life. This way a life coach and a client work together to make a difference!
In a Coaching relationship, the client is the expert, whereas the Coach acts as a Facilitator to bring out the best in the client
